Jedi Fugu Guard

This character is a jedi / samurai / blowfish inspired royal guard. This originated in the idea of creating a scifi-katana which was part of the star wars world, but more based in traditiional japanese sword making techniques. The blade itself is powered like the petar daggers from "solo", with an energy edge. The logos refer to the seven samurai which in turn inspired starwars itself.
The character I built to have someone wield the swords really. She's a royal guard, in clothing regal enough for court, but at the same time a clearly competent and deadly fighter. Her outfit is inspired by the blowfish.

It was fun to do a character again, it's been a while. It was a good way to practise my houdini skills, creating various systems for cloth, skin and hair amongst other things. The face itself is an adaptation of a model bought from the 3dscanstore. The eyes were done from scratch as systems in substance designer.
